When you register an account, we collect your username and email address. Your password is stored as a one-way hash — we cannot see it, and neither can anyone else who gains access to our database.
Comments and User Content
When you post a comment, we store the comment text, the article it was posted on, your user ID, and the timestamp. Comments are public and attributed to your username.
Technical Information
Like most websites, our server automatically logs your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you visit. We use this to diagnose technical problems and detect abuse (bots, scraping, brute-force login attempts).
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. It expires when you close your browser. We may also use Google Analytics cookies to understand aggregate site traffic patterns.

TinyReno is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
